Jim Morrison`s Ghost Haunts Rock Fans
In 1997 rock historian Brett Meisner of Hollywood California visited the grave of former Doors front man Jim Morrison at the Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris France. Meisner had a friend (Tom Petty) snap a photo of him standing by the grave. The photo was packed away & never really looked at until one day in 2002 when Meisner came across an absolute eerie discovery. On the right side of the photo plain as day is an image that closely reveals that of Jim Morrison.
The photo was examined by dozens of paranormal & photographic experts & even by the F.B.I. laboratory with no explanation. The only thing the experts do agree on, is that the photo has not been altered nor doctored in any way. Skeptics call it a forgery & some say it`s a ray of sunlight playing tricks. Paranormal expert Chris Fleming says "It`s one of the best I`ve ever seen!"
Brett says he has been plagued with bad luck ever since the discovery & is trying to get rid of it. A spiritual advisor & close friend of his believes the photograph is part of the curse & he must get rid of it, but no one will take it off Brett`s hands.
Rock Legend Jim Morrison was laid to rest at the Pere Lachaise cemetery in July of 1971. Thousands of people flock to the grave site regularly, in a festive mood which upsets families of nearby graves. The french government attempted to move Morrison`s grave to a different location when the lease ran out in 2001, but historians fought against the move & won.
