Freddy Jackson

This photo was taken in 1919 & first published in 1975 by Royal Air force Officer Victor Goddard. The photo is a group portrait of Goddard`s squadron which served in World War I aboard the HMS Daedalus.

In back of the airman on the top row 4th from the left is the face of Freddy Jackson. However, there`s one problem here!! Freddy Jackson, an air mechanic was accidentally killed 2 days earlier by an airplane propeller, & his funeral took place the same day that this picture was snapped.

Some believe that Jackson`s spirit was unaware of his death & showed up for the group photo.
