Lawrence`s Canine Companions This photo & story was sent to us from Lawrence Barnes In Florida. His comments & my opinion of this photo are included below. "Recently we had to put down my 17 year old lab.Seventeen years before we had a collie mix we had to put down because of cancer. The same day I put him,my lab, down I was very distraught.I was sitting in the room he liked the best and spent most of his time there.I decided to take a picture where he used to lay while we watched tv.I put it on the computer to print out and then I noticed two figures in the stereo. They were of my two dogs letting me know they were ok.There are no photos in that room of them.If you look to the left in the stereo glass door you can see Magic and Dee Dee." Blair`s opinion of this photo I studied this photo that Lawrence sent us carefully & this is what I personally think. A skeptic would immediately suggest that this is just a reflection of either a dog in the room, a photo of a dog in the room, or a photo of a dog inside of the stereo glass. If you look at the TV set, there appears to be a reflection of what may be a dog in the room. However, I`m not convinced that it is a dog reflection on the TV, because it`s too hard to determine what that image is, & if it is a dog, it wouldn`t coincide with the image on the stereo. As for the image in the stereo in the upper left hand of the photo, I don`t believe it is a reflection of a photo of a dog, because if it were we would see more then just the dogs. We would see the picture frame or other surrounding characteristics usually associated with a picture. There are what appears to be two light bars above the image of the dogs. The bar directly above them extends to the right which leads me to believe that if this were a photo, it`s off center. The bigger light bar above that looks like a reflection of a window from the other side of the room. That tells me IF this were an actual reflection of dogs in the room, they would have to be standing on a counter at least five feet high, because that`s approximately the height of the stereo cabinet. It`s highly unlikely that two large dogs would be standing on a counter. I studied this photo & tried to debunk it after Lawrence sent it to me & I believe this is real. Thank you Lawrence & if it`s any consolation, I beleive that an animal`s spirit carries on just like a human`s does. Magic & Dee Dee were loyal on the earthly plane & I`m sure they are just as loyal in the spiritual realm. Blair. |
