Portland Investigation
 
I was recently contacted by Eric & Claudia Wood who recently moved into their new home in Portland, Oregon. Let me clarify, the house isn`t new, it`s new to Eric & Claudia and their baby, Jade. After purchasing the home, they had the real estate agent take some pictures of them standing in front of their humble abode.
Since moving in they have had some odd incidents that now have them wondering. Many items keep disappearing & reappear later on. On one incident Claudia`s jewelry came up missing & they tore the house up looking for them. This intrigued them, because some of these jewelry items are family heir looms & Claudia always keeps them hidden in a safe place. The jewelry then reappeared right where she normally keeps them. On another occasion the baby`s clothes came up missing, just to name a few.
 
Eric states that they are always smelling unexplained odors like cigar smoke & rotten eggs. They have seen shadow images move across the room & often feel as though they are not alone. On one occasion while sitting on the couch, Claudia could feel what seemed like someone sitting down next to her, but there was no one there (visibly anyway). Sometimes when entering a room, they will see shadow movement & a cold breeze as though someone or something quickly ran and hid from them. At night time they often hear creaking noises, which often can be discredited as settling. Eric is suspicious though, because living in Portland, there isn`t usually drastic temperature changes that would cause this type of creaking.
 
Eric sent me several of the photos taken by the real estate agent & I must admit, it`s quite confusing. In one photo there are several images in the windows of the home and orbs above their heads. I studied the photos very carefully & found pretty much a logical explanation for all of this. The orbs appear to just be a reflection of sunlight. If you look at the picture, you`ll see where the sun is beaming down on Claudia`s purse & it`s pretty clear that it is reflecting off of an item in that purse. What`s odd about these orbs though, is that they are both different colors & each one is conveniently above their heads. Coincidence? See for yourself.
Eric & Claudia also state that they see angels and demons in the window to the left & faces in the window to the right. At first I didn`t see anything until I zoomed in on the windows, that`s when I began seeing many images. But what`s strange is that everytime I put this picture down & look at it again later, I see something else that I didn`t see the first time & sometimes I won`t see an image the second time, when I`m sure it was there the first time. Below are cropped photos of the left hand window, followed by the right hand window.
                                                     
 
This all seems very explainable, the colored orbs are just a reflection of sunlight & the images in the windows are clearly a reflection of the cloudline and trees from across the street, and a photographic expert that I had examine the photos agrees with my conclusion.The photographer agrees that we`re looking at reflections, but can`t explain what some of them are or why we`re seeing so many. It has been a proven fact that our minds are programmed to identify facial images out of amomalous blurs. I will admit that I have trouble seeing what Mr. & Mrs. Wood have reported seeing, but I also believe that I`ve seen images that they haven`t. So if this is reflections, why are there so many?

Now what do you see? The right window looks completely different, but look at the left window (zoom in if you must).   
All of the incidents that Mr. Wood has reported are classic signs of paranormal activity, but he admits that he is a bit skeptical. I`m keeping in touch with Eric & Claudia and at this time they are trying to research the history of their home in search of clues. As soon as I hear from them again, I`ll update this intriguing story with new information.

Eric has forwarded more photos where he has outlined some anomalies. I cropped these photos so you can see for yourself. This case gets more interesting everyday. So far Eric has hit a dead end on trying to learn the history of his home, but did learn that it has changed owners several times. In fact, at one point the house was sold twice in two months. I have to wonder why that is, was it for investment reasons, or ghostly reasons? Recently Eric & Claudia replaced the windows in the front of the house, but these odd images still keep showing up.
 
 
      
In this photo of the windows being replaced, My attention was drawn to a shadowy transparent image in the doorway & what appears as a purple orb like color above it.. I`m unable to determine just what it is though. I`m going to ask Eric & Claudia to keep a camera on hand & snap some pictures inside the home, the next time see shadows or feel as though they are not alone.
