A Note from Blair
I received this photo from Cat Moore in Pennsylvania in June of 2007. The facts & photo in this story (in my opinion) are overwhelmingly conclusive. Rather than write a story about it, I`ve chosen to re-print the actual contact`s between myself & Cat, because I believe our communication explains this better than any re-written story.
THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN CHRISTMAS DAY 2006 OF MY NEPHEWS. THE SECOND AND FOURTH PERSONS IN THE PHOTO ARE
BROTHERS WHO LOST THEIR DAD ON THANKSGIVING DAY OF 2006. NOT ONLY IS THERE A STRANGE MIST SURROUNDING THEM IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY IN THE MIRROR TO THE LEFT YOU CAN VERY CLEARLY SEE AN IMAGE OF ANOTHER MAN. TO ME
AND MY FAMILY WE ARE SURE ITS A SHADOW OF THE YOUNG MENS FATHER. THE HEAD SHAPE AND BODY TYPE IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS MY DECEASED RELATIVE. PLEASE GIVE MY FAMILY AND MYSELF YOUR THOUGHTS AND CONCLUSIONS.

Dear Cat,
I have examined the photo carefully & this is my opinion of the photo.
1. The ectoplasmic mist in the photo is a common appearance when spirits of the deceased are not always able to form in a full apparition. Although spirits do co-exist in a realm which is parallel to our physical plane, it takes a great deal of energy to appear as a full apparition. Often these spirits will absorb energy in the atmosphere around them to attempt to appear & that is often why we sometimes feel cold spots around us & also our electronic devices will begin to act unpredictable & even fail completely at times.
2. The image in the mirror is obviously not anyone's reflection that is in the room & I cannot find any logical explanation for it in relation to anyone or thing in the room.
My honest opinion is that this is truly genuine & you have captured a spirit or ghost in this photo. Although it is possible to artificially reproduce the mist or fog that is in the photo, the image in the mirror & the mist appears to be authentic & I cannot find any sign of altering or doctoring. Judging by your description of the deceased father & the fact that this was a gathering of friends and loved ones on a family oriented holiday, I must conclude that more than likely that is the deceased father in the photo.
Sometimes cameras have the ability to see things that humans cannot & I suggest reading "Cameras & Human Vision" on the Ghosthauntings.org web site for a perfect example of this. I want to stress that even though this was a true ghostly encounter, you have nothing to fear. Most ghosts are absolutely harmless & this was the deceased father`s way of letting his loved ones know that he is still with them spiritually. I`m sure he is with you & he can hear & see you, so don`t be afraid to speak out loud to him & let him know that you know he`s there. In many cases these visits from the deceased will stop after a while when that spirit moves on to higher planes of existence in the after life.
I can honestly say that this is one of the best photos i`ve ever seen.
